The MIX Fall Game Showcase 2025: Bloodbreaker: Labyrinth of the Witch

The MIX indie 2025 autumn showcase revealed Bloodbreaker: Labyrinth Of The Witch, a gloomy, anime side-scroller, clearly inspired by Castlevania. You play as vampiric protagonist, Ayana, as she battles monsters on the 2D plane, hacking and slashing in style (and at near lightspeed). Unfortunately, the trailer is very short, and we don’t get a feel for much else the game has to offer.

Overall, it seems a slick and stylish attempt at recapturing some Castlevania magic, and it is available to wishlist now.
