The MIX Fall Game Showcase 2025: Echo Weaver

Being stuck in a timeloop can be a daunting prospect. Sure, you get to retry things to your heart's content, and the world will always reset afterwards, but you are also stuck reliving the same moments again and again. Moonlight Kids’ upcoming “metroidbrainia” title, Echo Weaver, takes this common concept and adds time itself as a resource for you to spend and use.

Taking on the role of the last of the Weavers, a ruined society seeking utopia, our hero is stuck in a glitched timeloop. With no idea how this happened or how she became stuck, it is your task to explore the bizarre land to find answers. Your loop is a short one, however, but you can grab pickups to extend it further. You can also trade in some of your precious time to unlock gates, trade, and interact with the locals. There are no upgrades or unlocks, only secrets to uncover and skills to master.
