The MIX Fall Game Showcase 2025 Hank: Drowning on Dry Land

Whenever you think of superheroes or their slightly morally grey counterparts, vigilantes, you probably imagine someone who has their act together, right (Deadpool doesn’t count, shush)? Well, the crime-fighter starring in My Next Games’ upcoming title, Hank: Drowning On Dry Land, is anything but put together.

Hank, the time-manipulating vigilante, starts this story on a bit of a downer, as his lovely evening beverage turns out to be poisoned, leaving him both paralysed and slowly dying. Diving into his subconscious to look for any lifelines, as most brains often do, our “hero” finds himself using his time-distorting gifts to speed up time, rewind mistakes, and even create jumps in time to work with himself to solve the many conundrums of his mind. Modelled after classic superhero cartoons, Hank: Drowning On Dry Land has a unique look and a plethora of time-manipulating mechanics to explore! Just don’t high-five yourself, that causes paradoxes.
