The MIX Fall Game Showcase 2025: Service with a Shotgun

If you’ve ever worked in retail or customer service, you know it can be a soul-crushing job. Be it the monotonous work, the horrible customers, or just the general feeling of tedium, there’s just something about the vocation that drains the mind. If so, you may find some solace (or existential horror) in hearing that the career is still alive and well after the apocalypse… but you get to shoot zombies now!

In Nolyn Vansyckle’s debut title, Service with a Shotgun, you are running the area’s last retail store. As the only source of goods in town, you’ll have to deal with all hopefuls, no matter how deranged, to make ends meet. While you serve your customers, keep an eye on the window, as the living dead are constantly trying to barge in and make you into a bargain dinner. Mixing FPS and visual novel elements, SWAS promises five chapters of story-rich chaos and colourful characters.

Service with a Shotgun is set to release in Q4 2025 and has a demo available on Steam!
