The world-leading independent arts charity hosts events all year around to award Film, TV and Game makers for their work and achievements. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts run an international programme of learning events and initiatives to offer access to scholarships, masterclasses, lectures, workshops and mentoring schemes in the UK, USA and Asia.
A new award category has been added to The BAFTA Game Awards this year, Beyond Entertainment. Videogame developers have the power to move their audience. With more and more people joining the gaming community each year, The BAFTAs have decided it is time to start rewarding game makers for being able to deliver an experience beyond pure entertainment.

The BAFTA Game Awards 2018 will be hosted at the fabulous Troxy in London on 12th April. Special guests include Hideo Jojima, Charlie Brooker, Andy Serkis, Brena & John Romero, Tro Baker, Nolan North, Jeff Kaplan, Will Wright and Shigeru Miamoto.
