Broken Age Release Date Announced

Broken Age, the latest brainchild from Double Fine Productions, has been given a release date and it's very soon! 28th January 2014 to be exact. Kickstarter backers should have received their activation keys now for their early access to the game.

The game will release in two acts and you will only have access to Act I on the 28th. The second act will be unlocked, free of charge, later on in the year.

Broken Age follows two teenagers, Vella Tartine (voiced by Jennifer Hale) and Shay Volta (voiced by Elijah Wood), as they go on their own, separate adventures. Weirdly, although they live on completely different planets, they have an incredibly similar story.

Look forward to much pointing and, you heard it here first, there's clicking too, in Tim Schafer's first graphic adventure in sixteen years!
