Brush Off Your CDs Because Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX Announced

A mere five months after we wrote an article wondering whatever happened to Monster Rancher, Koei Tecmo has announced a remake of the first two titles!

This is the first time that the original Monster Rancher will be available in Europe, as 1999s Monster Rancher 2 was released under the name "Monster Rancher" outside of America. Unlike the Switch versions released in 2019 and 2020 in Japan (under the title Monster Farm), Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX is a collection with some additions. 

These additions include a high speed mode, which some players will find handy, and rebalancing of monsters. In another change to the originals, rather than getting to insert your own CDs to make monsters, players will have access to a vast database of CDs to choose from.

Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX is coming to PC, Switch and iOS on 8th of December 2021.
