Chasing Static Now Available on Consoles

Over a year after its PC release, the retro psychological horror game Chasing Static is now available on consoles! Developed by Headware Games and published by Ratalaika Games S.L., Chasing Static introduces the terrifying nightmare of Chris Selwood, which players experience from a first-person perspective. Drawing aesthetic inspiration from late ‘90s and early 2000s survival horror classics as well as ‘80s sci-fi horror, players are surely in for a twisted, creepy ride.

The passing of his father has brought Chris Selwood back home to North Wales, but in the middle of a storm, an unseen force throws him into a nightmare that has him exploring the untouched wilderness of rural Wales. Non-linear gameplay will let you explore at your own pace, uncovering secrets and solving puzzles in any order, and sonic exploration lets you hunt anomalies with an experimental Frequency Displacement Monitoring Device.

Chasing Static features full English voice acting and supports text for English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese. The game is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
