Disgaea 5 gets demo, runs out of keys in 24 hours

Disgaea 5, Nippon Ichi's 2015 entry to the popular Disgaea series, is slated for a PC release next Monday (May 7), and NIS America and Alienware Arena, in partnership, announced that they would be allowing players to get in on the fun early with a free demo. Players were encouraged to sign up here to receive a demo key.

As of printing, however, Alienware announced that they were all out of keys within 12 hours of the announcement.

Comments early on were complaining that there were no keys available (including one suggesting Alienware "forgot the keys"), but once things got going, players eagerly thanked them for the chance to try out the game a week prior to its release. Unfortunately, this lasted for only about 12 hours before the complaints began rolling in about 15 hours ago that the keys ran out. Three hours later, it seemed like all of the keys were gone.

Overlord-hopefuls will now have to wait until Monday to give the game a try.

Disgaea 5 is currently available for pre-order on Steam.
