Fight Through the Walker Apocalypse in The Walking Dead: Destinies, Reveal Trailer and Information

GameMill Entertainment and AMC have announced The Walking Dead: Destinies, releasing a new reveal trailer teeming with familiar characters, environments, and Walkers from the hit television series The Walking Dead. It’s a third-person, action-adventure experience where you’ll play through season one to season four of the show, starting with the iconic moment Rick wakes up alone in a hospital surrounded by the undead. The game is coming to consoles and PC; an official release date is still to be announced.

If you’ve watched AMC’s The Walking Dead, you know how the story is supposed to go, but Destinies allows you to forge your own path and rewrite the canon — with consequences, of course. For example, you can choose how you shape your relationship with the Governor, making him into an enemy or an ally. The reveal trailer also highlights the various ways you can handle the standoff between Rick and Shane, resulting in one of their deaths. If you ever wondered how things would play out with Shane as the leader, now’s your chance to find out! Additionally, you’ll visit a number of locations from the show, including Atlanta, the Greene family farm, the prison, and Woodbury.

Walking Dead Destinies Reveal

It wouldn’t be The Walking Dead without fighting through hordes of undead. Build your team from a roster of 12 characters, defend your camp, and rescue survivors. Ranged and melee weapons are at your disposal, such as bats, katanas, revolves, shotguns, and crossbows. Resources are limited, though, so you’ll have to scavenge for weapons and ammo along the way.

The Walking Dead: Destinies is available to pre-order now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

I wonder if the game will let you follow the storyline of the comics?
