Friendly Reminder: Please Don't Use Your Switch During the Heatwave

The heatwave that is hitting a lot of places worldwide has reached high peaks, and although we know that gamers worldwide need a distraction during these trying times, we'd like to remind you to please not use your Nintendo Switch during the heatwave.

In an official announcement on Nintendo's Support Twitter account, the company states that the Nintendo Switch is not built to handle degrees above 35°C (or 95°F); the central unit will heat up, and it could cause severe damage. We know that playing on your home console would work as a great distraction from the heat, but it's vital that you check what temperatures your country will be hitting; we wouldn't want anything bad happening!
