Frozen Synapse is Getting a Sequel

Frozen Synapse was the gaem that put Mode 7 Games on the map. The Cyberpunk-themed strategy earned near universal applause on release, selling in the millions and even getting a alternative ending to parody that of Mass Effect 3

The Oxford based developer has announced their new project today, and it's a second game in the series (third if you count spinoff Frozen Cortex) called, you guessed it, Frozen Synapse 2. 

Unfortunately, Mode 7 are presently keeping quite tight lipped on the project. They have launched a website for the game and revealed the above screenshot as well as confirming that this game will be an "Open World Tactics" title, so seemingly it will be much larger in scope than the previous game.
