Futurama to Return as a Mobile Game

It's the show that's been cancelled more times than a First Great Western train and despite no longer being created in its televised format, Matt Groening's second most popular cartoon is returning in a slightly different medium.

Wooga, a German developer of iOS and Android games are planning a new game featuring the crew of the Planet Express solve puzzles using drones to fight against their enemy MomCo.

The game has the blessing of the show's creators and writers (one of them is even involved in the project) and also features Dave Grossman, famous for his work on Monkey Island.
