God of War III Remastered Announced

God of War is 10-years-old this year, and in true new-gen style, it's getting a shiny new makeover in the form of God of War III: Remastered.

The title, which was originally released back in 2010, will receive a full 1080p overhaul as well as the addition of a photo mode, a feature introduced in various remasters and definitive editions including The Last of Us and DmC.

God of War III will release on 15th July and 17th July in the UK, for the meantime check out Kratos in all his god slaying beauty above.

I'm finding this really strange. Why not remaster all of them and put them in one great PS4 package. I would probably buy that! Just 3 on its own though, I doubt it.

Exactly my thoughts. "Celebrate a decade of god-slaying by playing a game that came out half as long ago!"

It even states in the video - Seven games! Though I could only think of five, without counting the other two Remastered versions on PS3...

Have to admit, you are correct, I would be much more temped if it had the older games in, even if all of them wasn't remastered

I didn't get around to playing GoW III before my PS3 broke, so I'm pretty excited for this.

My fear is that all of these definitve/remastered editions is what Sony teased there first party studios were working on! Hope I'm wrong, that being said, i missed this so would be glad to have another a stab (pardon the pun) at it on ps4
