Kojima's Death Stranding Shown at The Game Awards

Hideo Kojima's first game since leaving Konami, Death Stranding, has seen the light of day once again.

Following its reveal at Sony's E3 Press Conference in the summer, a new, more action-orientated trailer was shown at The Game Awards last night after its creator was given the Industry Icon award.

Check it out in the trailer above and make sense of it what you will.

Once again the theme seems to suggest something about unborn children: there's a baby being carried in a mechanical uterus and a floating baby doll on the returning 'inky' liquid.

The big reveal comes at the end when we see a glimpse of what might be the game's antagonist, Mads Mikklessen, connected to skeleton soldiers through umbilical chords.

Who knows what it all means and when we'll see it, but it's safe to say Kojima hasn't lost any of his bonkers ideas.
