Limited Edition Switch Design to Launch Alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons
The next entry in the beloved Animal Crossing series is drawing ever closer. To celebrate Animal Crossing: New Horizons' release on 20th March, Nintendo is releasing a limited-edition Switch console design featuring the Nook family and new coloured joy-cons. Check them out in the short trailer above.
In New Horizons, players will start fresh on a deserted island, building a village from scratch and fostering a community along the way. With new crafting mechanics joining the game's existing array of activities and pastimes, this entry looks to be the most involved yet.
A new Switch Lite carrying case and screen protector will release at the same time as the console and game, meaning that owners of Nintendo's latest handheld-only system won't be completely missing out on the Animal Crossing console excitement.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons and the limited-edition console both launch on 20th March.

I really wish Nintendo would sell the joy-cons and dock seperately as well. They look pretty neat, and I love Animal Crossing, but not enough to buy an entire other Switch.
