Mighty No. 9 is Finally Here, Sonic the Hedgehog Not Impressed

Mighty No.9 is finally upon us. With the game having suffered delay after delay since its Kickstarter funding, the game is available on most major platforms from the 24th of June in PAL regions. The game is already available in America and was demonstrated on Twitch by creator Keiji Inafune who stated that whilst it wasn't as good a game as he would have liked, it was "better than nothing".

Sonic Team couldn't resist getting a sly dig in at this statement on Twitter:

Now, Sonic's no stranger to eagerly awaited games that turned out to get a lukewarm reception, so it could be seen as the pot calling the kettle black, but with a new game rumoured to be announced soon, do Sonic Team feel they have a Mighty No. 9 killer in the works?
