Mobile Games Out This Week: 2/12/16
We spend all week scrounging around for cool new iOS and Android game releases. Then, every Friday, we put together a list of them to share with you. How awesome is that?
Hint: it’s pretty awesome.
Just so you know, it’s not an exhaustive list. Rather, it covers the games that most stand out to us. Enjoy this week’s games!
Post Brutal

Satisfy your action RPG urges in this post-apocalytpic story of survival. You won’t just play as another faceless zombie-killer, though. Post Brutal allows you to drop your own face on your character. How’s that for motivation to survive? Plus, there’s dynamic combat and a deep progression system, along with the ability to replay missions at higher difficulties.
Grab your gear and head into the Quarantine Zone on iOS and Android.
Swap Sword

Swap Sword combines match-3 puzzle gameplay with roguelike elements. Straight from the app store description: “swap to kill, match to dispatch, but don’t get caught with your sword down.” I won’t lie...I chuckled. You’ll get to build a variety of custom spells as you journey through unique environments and try not to die.
Start swapping swords (carefully, I’ve heard it's not the safest hobby...) on iOS.
Colt Express

Some might say another board game like it’s a bad thing, but it’s a great time to be a fan. Colt Express is based on the award-winning western-themed board game and the action takes place entirely on a train. Plow through 30 solo chapters, then hop into heated quick-play action against real and AI players.
You can grab it right now on iOS or Android.
Distraint
We’re past the horror story time of year, but I guess that urge never ends for true lovers of the genre. You’ll head into this grim 2D world as an ambitious guy named Price. He seizes a property from an old lady, and as per usual, things tumble downhill from there. It features hand-drawn graphics, an atmospheric soundtrack, and plenty of twists and turns.
Hop into this psychological horror on Android, if you dare.
Epic of Kings
This one released earlier this year on iOS, and now it’s finally available on Android devices. Explore the mythological land of Khunirath as a mercenary warlord trying to figure out his place in the world. You’ll get to take on beastly bosses, travel through varied landscapes, and hack your way through plenty of enemies in this action-filled adventure game.
Dive into this epic fantasy story on Android.
Apollo Justice Ace Attorney
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFKKnAkI5EE
Jump into the legal world as rookie defense attorney Apollo Justice. As in the other Ace Attorney titles, you'll have to put your brain to the test as you snoop around crime scenes, question suspicious folks, and generally do your best to prove that your client isn't a monster.
Unleash your inner attorney on iOS, or wait until next week for the Android release.

There's some pretty good games coming out. Might make my bus journeys more tolerable.
