No Man's Sky Finally Gets Huge Update

Nobody could have missed the spectacular crash and burn that was Hello Games' first foray into space: No Man's Sky. Even if you weren't caught up in the hype, you knew someone who was - and by that measure you knew someone (possibly someone else) who was disappointed by what the original game brought to the table.

The initial amount of players reached as high as 212,000 on Steam alone (a figure which has been mere hundreds in recent days), showing that all of the marketing in the world can't keep your game from being a massive flop.

But Hello Games have finally brought out a 1.1 patch, named the Foundation Update and bundled with almost 200 fixes and additions. There are new difficulty modes, anti-aliasing, farming freighters and, of course, base building. It uses modules and lets you stick aliens inside to research things for you, and can be deconstructed if you decide to move to another planet.

You can find out more on the link above, or the video at the top.

Are you returning to No Man's Sky with the Foundation Update?
