Outriders' Latest Gameplay Trailer Showcases Its World, Powers and Difficulty System

The latest gameplay trailer for People Can Fly's Outriders is here. The one-to-three player co-op, loot-based shooter combines elements from MMOs, ARPGs and third-person shooters to create an experience that looks inspired-by, but distinct from much else on the market. Check out the 12-minute gameplay trailer above and keep an eye on Outriders as the game nears its December 2020 release date.

Launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (in addition to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), Outriders will be an early co-op experience for the next generation of consoles. Up to three players can team up, choosing from any one of four customisable classes (Trickster, Pyromancer, Devastator and a fourth, unknown class) and taking on RPG-style quests together. In the video, we get a glimpse of the First City, a failed colony location ravaged by dangers, threats and countless foes.

Loot is core to the Outriders experience, as players progress through the game, levelling up the game's difficulty levels (with the 'world Tier' system, shown in the video), the weapons, armour and equipment they'll encounter will improve in quality and rarity. Players looking to scratch that Diablo, Borderlands or Division 'itch' on the next generation of consoles will find their needs being catered for with Outriders.

This gameplay trailer came as part of an in-depth development live stream from People Can Fly. Each month from now until the game's release, similar streams will explore new aspects of Outriders.

Outriders is set for launch December 2020 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
