PUBG Mobile Gets Mystical with Rune Skills

PUBG MOBILE players have begun wielding magic on the battlefield thanks to the introduction of magically-enhanced Runes to the game in the latest 1.2 update. These are:

• The Wind Rune, which produces a semi-transparent wall of wind capable of reflecting enemy attacks, boosting player movement speed and improving reload time.
• The Flame Rune, which causes the appearance of a rolling wheel of flame able to cause massive damage. It also adds a fire buff to players' bullets.
• The Arctic Rune, which in addition to letting players summon a 3x3 protective ice wall at will, also lets them fire ice-imbued bullets.

The runes enter the game as part of Season 17, appropriately known as Runic Power. The season will launch on iOS and Android today, the 19th January, bringing with it new cosmetics, map variants, missions and gameplay styles.
