Refresh and New Models for NZXT's Kraken Coolers

NZXT's all-in-one watercooler series, Kraken, is getting a refresh. As well as upgrading the X42 and X62 models, the line now has a new cooler in the form of the 240mm X52 unit.

“The launch of the Kraken X52 allows us to provide optimal cooling performance to builders in a 240mm form factor,” says Johnny Hou, NZXT’s founder and CEO. “With the all-new Kraken series, we’ve improved upon the previous generation in many ways. Incorporating HUE+ lighting and NZXT’s new digital control interface allows unprecedented customization to be delivered. The pump has been redesigned to bring quieter operations with improved performance.”

The new pump is quieter and can be controlled by NZXT's popular CAM software. The fans are now their latest Aer P models, and the tubing has been given some extra protection with nylon braiding. As with most of NZXT's latest range, the devices now support their HUE+ multicolour lighting system as well, so your system can look as cool as its CPU is.krakenxAlongside these new additions, the Aer P fans mentioned above are available to buy separately for those who prefer their cooling systems to be less moist. Available in 120mm, (included with the Kraken X52) and 140mm (included with Kraken X42 and X62) the Aer P fans feature sleeved cables to keep PC builds clean and vibration dampeners on each mounting point to minimize case noise. Three coloured trim choices are available and sold separately to colour coordinate your build. Choose from blue, red or white.
