Request A Song To Go In Rock Band 4
If you're worried that you won't be able to rock out to your favourite song in Rock Band 4 you can make a specific song request which might get considered for the game.
By using developer Harmonix's webiste you can make as many song requests as you like, telling Harmonix which songs and which artists you'd like to see in Rock Band 4. This method is by no means a definitive way to get your song into the game, especially given the legal rights, but it is a nice incentive.
Rock Band 4 will release in 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One and will include backwards compatible instruments and access to previous entries song lists.

I have done my part and submitted about 30 or so entries on the form. If even one of them is considered (and I somehow knew it), I'd be delighted - if any are actually in I'll be ecstatic!
Regardless, this is on my list of "things I must get" now :D
