Rock Band 4 Release Date Revealed
Harmonix have today announced that Rock Band 4 will release on October 6th for PS4 and Xbox One.
The latest entry in the series features over 1500 songs, brand new peripherals and a completely revamped World Tour.
You'll also be able to use your old instruments and transfer your DLC from previous Rock Band titles, meaning you'll likely be spoiled for choice from release.
If you want even more from the get go, pre-ordering Rock Band 4 will grant you 30 exclusive songs when the game releases later this year.

ARGH! 30 songs for pre-order! I gotta do that. And then I have to get the console to go with it...
I currently have DLC on Xbox 360; is the DLC tied to console maker, or Harmonix (i.e., could I get all my current DLC on PS4 or would it all be tied to Microsoft consoles)?

As far as I know, it's tied to the console. So only Xbox 360 to Xbox One and PS3 to PS4 transfers are allowed.
