Shenmue I & II Release Dated

Shenmue fans rejoice! Sega announced recently that the Shenmue I & II pack has finally received a release date. Players will be able to experience the popular hybrid RPG, originally available only on the Dreamcast and the original XBox, all over again on modern platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, and XBox One. 

Players can preorder the game digitally through PSN, the XBox Marketplace, and Steam for a 10% discount ahead of its launch, at which time a physical copy will also become available. The new release will include modernization tweaks to presentation and gameplay, including scaleable screen resolution and other graphic options, a choice between modern and classic control schemes, an updated user interface, and the ability to switch between Japanese and English voiceovers.

Hopefully this re-release will be something of a balm for fans, who recently received bad news that the highly-awaited Shenmue III has been delayed again, this time into 2019 for undisclosed quality improvement reasons.
