Take Control of Baba Jaga in 2024 with New Release Date Announcement Trailer for REKA

Developed by Emberstorm Entertainment and published by Fireshine Games, REKA is an upcoming adventure base-building title in which you take control of the mythical Baba Jaga. Up until now, it had not received an official release date, but now we have a release window!

In a new trailer named "REKA - A Journey Begins", we get to see some of the gameplay elements in the dark fantasy title, including the gargantuan chicken-legged house, some of the environments, and a good chunk of the base-building implementation. At the end, the trailer shows that it's "Coming 2024" with a Steam wishlist link, but we have a closer release window than the video might allude to.

In the press release sent out, it seems like REKA will be bolstering a Q2 2024 release date, and it will be coming out to Steam Early Access once it releases. At launch, it'll feature the prologue and the opening chapter, giving witches around the world the capability to start thier journey. This will include the base-building mechanisms for your home, a couple of quests, and some decorations that will be included, as shown in the A Journey Begins trailer.

We don't know much more about the Early Access release, including how many hours will be available and what will really be open to players; whether various of the implementations mentioned on Steam will make a debut still remains to be seen, such as taming the wildlife around the dark landscape.
