Time to Raid Tombs in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft with the New Launch Trailer

The highly anticipated release of the Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft is finally here. The title that started it all came out back on the 25th of October 1996 — nearly 30 years ago — and it is finally back and better than ever. Featuring new graphics and improved gameplay elements, the official release for the remaster of the first three titles is finally out.

The trailer released on Aspyr Media's official YouTube channel gives a look at the upgraded version of the three classic adventures. From comparisons to the previous and original titles to the gameplay elements, you'll be able to relive the early Lara Croft experience with all-new graphics and enhancements — just how we remembered them to look!

This faithful remaster makes the original three titles more accessible to newcomers to the franchise and enhances the Lara Croft experience — previously covered on our Does It Hold Up? for Tomb Raider, the controls were uncomfortable and unintuitive. These have been modernised to fit a broader audience, a topic our writer touches a bit on.
