Tomb Raider Sold Over 8.5 Million Copies

Crystal Dynamics have announced that the 2013 hit Tomb Raider (2013) has sold over 8 and a half million copies since its release in March 2013.

These sales include last year's Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition re-release for PS4 and Xbox One, but they don't mention if it is just physical or also includes digital copies.

If it includes digital copies, it makes sense that they release this information a few weeks after Tomb Raider has ended its run on Xbox's Games with Gold. Its inclusion on both Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus will have bumped up its digital figures, no doubt.
