Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is Real

Months of rumours and mysterious tweets have come to fruition when yesterday, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 was revealed by Game Informer.

With an exclusive first look at the upcoming title, Game Informer had this to say

"Pro Skater 5 is a call back to the old-school lineage of the first four titles – back when the franchise was in its prime. The game weds the series' finely tuned gameplay with new additions such as power-ups and the ability to shoot projectiles for specific missions."

Returning to its roots, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will feature a set of brand new levels, full of objectives and introduces the ability to complete missions via single player or multiplayer. 

What's more, THPS5 will see the return of Tony Hawk in videogame form as well as other iconic favourites such as Andrew Reynolds while also introducing a brand new generation of skaters such as Riley Hawk and Aaron Homoki.

The game is slated for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year, with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions also expected.
