World of Tanks Launches G.I. JOE Crossover Event

The iconic '80s cartoon G.I. JOE has partnered with multiplayer competitive tank shooter World of Tanks for a limited-time event which will bring G.I. JOE styles to the game. The new-look tanks will transform the TS-5 and T-54 first prototype into the G.I. JOE M.O.B.A.T. and the Cobra H.I.S.S. respectively. Check out the event's thematically outlandish trailer above.

In addition to the new tank skins, players will also be able to partake in a set of unique missions, with G.I. JOE and Cobra emblems and inscriptions as rewards. These missions will be available until the 26th March.

Currently, World of Tanks is launching its fourth in-game Battle Pass season, which will run until the 15th June. Featuring three chapters of 50 stages each, the Battle Pass will see players unlocking a range of currencies and aesthetic items, including a collectable 3D style for the Object 705A, the T110E3 and the 121 medium tank.

Read more about the World of Tanks and G.I. JOE crossover, including the Duke and Cobra commanders available this month with Prime Gaming, on the World of Tanks website.

The G.I. JOE event for World of Tanks is live now on PC and console.
