VR Star Trek Game Announced

Levar Burton came to the stage at E3 to announce the latest Star Trek game. The title, called Star Trek Bridge Crew is a VR game that puts you on the deck of the USS Aegis, a brand new Starfleet ship. Remember when we were kids and we used to pretend we were controlling the various consoles of the Starship Enterprise? This is the VR version of that.

It's set to support all major VR platforms including the PlayStation VR, Vive and Oculus Rift. We can expect to be sat on the bridge of our favourite ships this autumn, with up to four of our friends on other stations. We've had a sneak peek in the above trailer, but so far we know that it contains at least three of the show's generations: Voyager, Next Generation and the recent JJ Abrams reboots.

You know who I think of when I think "Star Trek"? Karl Urban.

Seriously, they went for someone who's been in a couple of hours of Trek? They ran out people who have experience with the universe to ask?
