"Seriously, can't a homicidal maniac get a moment of peace these days? Must everyone keep interrupting me?". Nikki nodded in agreement with the crazy man, actually knowing how he felt. He had just wanted peace and quiet for a long time now, and it never came. Today was just like any other day, only with more poo than usual.
"I feel like I've come at a bad time" Nikki announced. "I've just got something to pick up and then I'll be off. Don't worry, I didn't see a thing." Platinum just stared him down, not entirely sure if this was some kind of ruse. After what seemed like an eternity, he decided that the best thing to do was destroy Nikki with his laser eyes. It was what he was good at. But he didn't count on Nikki matching him for speed.
Leaping away from Platinum, Nikki drew his katana and swung for Platinum, who wasn't expecting a physical match and absorbed the blow with his still-human flesh. Firing off a few more rounds of laser beams, he reversed his chair back to get a better angle. This wasn't Nikki's first rodeo, and with a few deft flicks of the wrist, he reflected the beams back using the shiny Damascus steel of his favourite blade.
With one strong lunge, he thrust the sword through Platinum's chest, expecting to see blood. He certainly didn't expect to see the seeping light and smoke come from the gaping wound of the clearly dying man in front of him. He eyed the door, ready to make an escape, but something made him pause and turn around.
Behind Nikki was Rasher, a feeble looking man, covered in poo and scared half to death. "It's time" thought Nikki, seeing his way out. The one final act that might give his wretched soul a little retribution. He lept onto Rasher, embracing him like he'd never embraced anybody before.
