gamescom 2022 Future Games Show: Soulstice Trailer

The Soulstice trailer at this year's gamescom, gave very little away as to what it even was. We saw two characters who I can only assume are the protagonists and a glowing red monster who I’m going to say was a bad guy. There was also a little text that alluded to possible rebirth mechanics, but there was little substance to the 38 second trailer.

The game may very well be soulslike, with its clear fantasy-themed setting and tough-looking monster enemies, with a revival element to keep you in the fight. It’s a crowded genre these days, so hopefully they can stand apart from the rest. Unfortunately the trailer didn’t really say enough for me to be able to make that call.

Soulstice is set for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 20th September.
