gamescom 2022: Hogwarts Legacy

At gamescom 2022, a new trailer for Hogwarts Legacy, the latest game in the Harry Potter Wizarding World franchise, received a new World Premiere trailer. The game, developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment under their Portkey Games label, shows a Slytherin student teaching a Hufflepuff student the Cruciatus Curse, also known as the Torture Curse, one of the three Unforgivable Curses. Also seen are an array of walking skeletons in a cave and a Thestral appearing at a dock. 

Also shown in the trailer are some bonuses obtained with a pre-order of the Digital Deluxe Edition, including 72 hours of early access, a Dark Arts Garrison Hat, an Onyx Hippogriff Mount, and the Dark Arts Pack, which features a cosmetic set, a battle arena, and a Thestral as a mount!

Pre-orders for Hogwarts Legacy open on 25th August, with the full game releasing on 10th February, 2023 on Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
