gamescom 2022: Under the Waves

At gamescom 2022, a trailer was released for Under the Waves, a narrative adventure game developed by Parallel Studio and published by Quantic Dreams. In the sci-fi future decade of the 1970s, a professional diver named Stan has recently gone through a terrible personal tragedy and loss, now needing to forge a new path forward. He is completely isolated, both mentally and physically, exploring the depths of the North Sea. Yet, he is soon beset with an array of odd experiences down near the bottom of the sea and he must soon choose whether to stay down there for the rest of his days or make the struggle to resurface and rejoin the world.

Under the Waves will wash up onto shores in 2023 for Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
