Philips Screeneo Preview

Anyone that has been looking for a projector, but doesn't have the ability to attach it to the roof/wall behind them, or problems with cabling around the room has been stopping them should take note of the Philips Screeneo. It’s an ultra short throw projector, capable of projecting an image up to 100” from as little as 10cm away from the screen or wall.

Ideal for gamers with little space that want a big atmosphere, the Screeneo also has built in 2.1 Dolby speakers and sub-woofer, so there’s less to think about needing a separate sound system.

The Screeneo has a recommended retail price from £999 and a full technical specification can be found on the Philips website.

While that does seem a lot of money, to be able to view from such a short distance is behoound usfull.

Again, whats the native resolution for this? please say it's HD

There's a slightly better resolution on this model over the PicoPix - 1280 x 800 pixels. Enough to get a 720p image out of it anyhow. Again, "HD Ready" so can take a bigger resolution and downscale it. I think at this point, the limitation is from the what they're doing with the ultra short throw. I have a feeling full HD versions will be along before too long.
