The Crew 2 Wants To Make You King of Motorsports

The Crew 2 doesn't want you to just be a driver - it wants you to win at any race that involves a motor. From cars and bikes to boats and planes, you will race across America like never before. The trailer also promises massive off-road exploration, and aerial views of the life-like renders of American cities that you'll want to go back through when you aren't racing for the podium.

The Crew 2 is out in 2018 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and a beta signup is now available.

I quite liked how accesible The Crew was. Unfortunately They appear to have removed the story to make it more of a racing game, but then added in planes and boats to make it less of a racing game...

Speaking of the boat section - the voiceover claims that wakes will affect you - and we see no evidence of this.

Driving was quite fun in The Crew and the story felt a bit... "tacked on". Be interesting to see what the boats and planes are like though. I'm guessing the "story" in this one is that you're a pro driver...

did just witness the ability to phase out of reality and switch from a plane to a boat though. So uhm, I wonder how they're explaining that one... along with the Inception stylised deformation of the world.

Actually, I think the story might be that you're out of your mind on drugs and someone is tapping into your lucid state. :|

"When this guy is high, he's REALLY good at controlling vehicles!"

Yeah, the story is the same as the story for ANY racing game. "You want to win because you want to win." Tacked on or not, it was at least a reason to do things.

I actually quite liked the story for The Crew and would have liked to have seen more even if it felt like afterthought at the time.

Inevitibly, it has vehicles and racing. So I'm bound to pick it up at some point.

Be a laugh to control the planes and boats with a wheel... XD
