The time for speculation is now. At E3, Sony gave us an extended (relatively speaking compared to anything else we've seen) look at Hideo Kojima's latest opus Death Stranding. Unsurprisingly, the gameplay and cinematic footage offers up more questions than it answers, but at least a few pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall into place.
Norman Reedus plays Sam, a simple delivery man, who appears to have the ability to sense whatever monstrosities have ravaged the Earth, a skill we learn is uncommon among the population. Still, he's not all that special, as it appears other people can actually see them, which we learn thanks to Lea Seydoux's unnamed character. There's also sweeping shots of the gorgeous open world, something about the monsters having time manipulation abilities, and that creepy foetus makes a comeback. All in all, pretty standard Kojima.
