Sony Offers Up Black Ops III Free, Remastered Maps, and More

The Black Ops series is a firm favourite among Call of Duty fans, and during their E3 press conference this year, Sony threw out a rapid fire series of announcements that should have any hardcore fan of the series salivating.

Firstly, Black Ops 4 will feature classic multiplayer maps from the series like Jungle and Firing Range remastered, but for players who pre-order the title, these maps will be included for play in Blacks Ops 3 right now. "But what if I don't own Black Ops 3?" asked a helpful panel member. Well, Sony's got your back: As of tonight, PlayStation Plus members can play Black Ops 3 for free whenever they like.
