The Division 2 Announced And Gets A Gameplay Trailer
The Division had a rocky start, but after continued support from Ubisoft, became one of the better shared-world shooters on the market. In a move that surprised nobody, rumours started floating around about The Division 2 recently, and surely enough the game was announced during Microsoft's E3 press conference with a story trailer and some gameplay footage.
While some might argue that it's "more of the same", the trailers (complete with cringe worthy scripted team speak) demonstrate that The Division 2 will feature a greater variety of skills and ways to cooperate with your squad, making it less of your typical third-person cover shooter. Combine that with a far more open, interesting environment in the form of an overgrown Washington D.C., and this may just be Assassin's Creed 2 all over again for Ubisoft.
The Division 2 launches on March 15th, 2019. You can register for the Beta here.
