gamescom 2021: Salt & Sacrifice Multiplayer Gameplay Reveal

Sak Studios have revealed that after breaking tradition and listening to the players, their new game Salt and Sacrifice will feature online co-op, PvE and PvP play.

As a marked inquisitor, you can stifle the spell mark that curses you and summon random strangers to your aid. The downside of this is you open your world to invasion by malicious inquisitors that are motivated by bloodlust.

Should you not wish to engage in the PvP side of things, you can play solo, use a password cooperatively with a friend through the campaign, never use a summoning candle and you'll never get invaded.

Salt and Sacrifice will be out in early 2022.
