Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022) Short Thoughts #5 - Violence and Timing

This thought is a bit of a spoiler, so be warned before reading!

The mission "Violence and Timing" was probably my favourite. It has one of, if not the, most ridiculous layouts of any level in a game. Taking place just over the halfway point in the campaign, Gaz and Price must fight their way through a terrorist armoured truck convoy to save Laswell who has been captured. Farah from the previous game turns up to help on this one too, as the mission takes place in the Middle East.

As Gaz, you begin your overwatch in a helicopter before falling from it and directly into the oncoming convoy. What follows is you hijacking vehicle after vehicle, slowly making your way up the convoy, to reach Laswell who is at the very front. At times, along the way, you'll meet up with Price and then you'll join forces to cause extra carnage before it's back to roof surfing and carjacking. There are enemies dropping mines along the highway, armoured enemies with RPGs, and just literal truckloads of bad guys with Kalashnikovs, all of them trying to stop you. After half an hour of this (yes, the convoy is seriously that long) the level culminates in a small war between parked vehicles as the terrorists scramble a last stand.

This level was just so fun to play, so much happens it's hard to explain here in one short thought, but most important of all, there is absolutely no broken stealth — just all-out action from start to finish!
