gamescom 2021: 9 Years of Shadows Gameplay Trailer

At the Future Games Show during gamescom 2021, developer Halberd Studios released the Gameplay trailer for their upcoming Metroidvania title, 9 Years of Shadows. 

Described as "emotionally driven", 9 Years sees protagonist Europa exploring a timeworn mechanical giant and fighting to restore colour to the world and ending a terrible curse. Featuring healing music from Manami Matsumae (of Mega Man fame), Norihiko Hibino (of Metal Gear fame) and Michiru Yamane (of Castlevania fame), 9 Years promises a soothing and engaging experience filled with stunning pixel art, deep lore, and fun combat.
