Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase: Atomfall

A new open-world survival-action game called Atomfall created by Rebellion, the makers of Sniper Elite, has been announced at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. It takes place in a post-war Britain and includes elements of classic British sci-fi such as Doctor Who.

The trailer shows the British countryside with idyllic pubs, quaint villages, and red phone boxes. The events of the game take place five years after a nuclear disaster had happened in northern England. The narrative is about someone who finds themself stuck in a quarantine zone run by the military and filled with factionalism and in-fighting.
