Devolver Digital 2022: The Plucky Squire Trailer

Once upon a time, there was a plucky squire named Jot, or so the book Plucky Squire by E.N. Arthur says. Perhaps, there is more truth to the stories than we might know… When the story's villain, Humgrump, finds out that he is destined to lose, he pushes Jot, the plucky squire, out of the book's pages into a 3D world.

In The Plucky Squire, players will follow Jot as he enters a 3D world and tries to venture back into the pages of the book to stop the story from changing. But perhaps, it’s far too late for that. Jump between 2D and 3D atmospheres to solve puzzles, battle foes, and return to save your friends and — perhaps most important of all — the happy ending.

Unlike the book, this news post doesn’t have a happy ending, as we are sad to inform you that The Plucky Squire will release sometime next year.
