Summer Game Fest 2022: HUMANKIND on Consoles and Latin America DLC

At Summer Game Fest, HUMANKIND™ has revealed not just one announcement but two! The turn-based historical strategy game where you combine cultures to form your own unique civilisation. Today, Amplitude Studios have announced that you will be able to pre-order HUMANKIND on consoles.

To add to this announcement, Amplitude Studios have also released HUMANKIND's second DLC, which will feature six new cultures in Latin America. So, you can explore the history of Latin America, and there will also be a free update known as the "Bolivar Patch".

But first, let's talk more about the Cultures of Latin America DLC. In this pack, you will have six new cultures available to you. Explore the Caralans, Nazca, Taíno, Inca, Argentinian, and Cuban cultures. Along with these six new cultures, you'll have six new wonders to explore. There's the Pyramid of the Sun — or Teotihuacan, Maracana Stadium, Salar de Uyuni, the Salto Angel, Lençóis Maranhenses, and the Atacama Desert. There will be nine independent peoples, and fifteen new narrative events along with over thirty new in-game themed music tracks from Arnaud Roy.

Now, let's talk about the "Bolivar Patch". In this patch, you'll have a major game update that will introduce a number of community-requested features. A few of these features include a reworked surrender system, unique wonder effects, some rebalanced war support modifiers, and some infrastructure yield previews. But that's not all, check out the "Bolivar Patch" for yourself to see the other features Amplitude Studios has implemented.

You can get the Cultures of Latin America DLC for £6.99 or $8.99 on Steam or the Epic Games Store. The console edition of HUMANKIND will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on the 4th of November this year. If you have Xbox Game Pass, you can play it on the 4th of November immediately.
