Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022: Overwatch 2 Free to Play Trailer

News regarding the sequel to the critically acclaimed hero shooter has been quiet for a few months now following the successful closed beta period that ran from April-May 2022. Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase broke that silence with what is arguably the biggest news for the game yet: Overwatch 2 will be a free-to-play title.

Promising new Champions, new maps, and a PvE singleplayer/coop mode complete with skill trees that we were teased to last year, Overwatch 2 is looking to make quite the impact when it lands on 4th October 2022 in Early Access for Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
