How to Enable Companion Pick-up Settings in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Gameloft has been adding more depth to companions throughout various updates, including allowing them to be paired up with their movie owners and helping players pick up items! While that's great, you might need your pets not to pick up items or only help with specific ones.

If that's the case, here's how you can easily swap Companions' behaviour:

• Head over to the Wardrobe (or click V).
• Go to the Companions category.
• Look for the Settings at the right-hand top corner of the menu.

There, you'll see three options:

• Collect Everything: Companions will pick up items like intended.
• Carried Items: Companions will only gather what is already available in the player's Inventory.
• No Collecting: Companions will not pick up any item; they'll only follow the player.

This makes it easy to switch options on the fly, even while changing what pet follows you!
