How to Get the Sinisistar 2 R18 Patch and Install It on Steam

One thing about some publishers on Steam is that they release 18+ titles without selling them as such, releasing a lite version that is more accessible to everyone. Players have to be "in the know" to catch these sorts of experiences, as the Patch to unlock the NSFW content is often hidden away from the store page.

These titles release without any DLC for the content, and instead, it's supplied as a patch that players have to apply in order to unlock the content. One of the latest games to join this ranking is SiNiSistar 2, the dark fantasy metroidvania title following up on the original, which was one of the top-reviewed games of last week.

For those who want to do the elbow grease of searching for everything, looking up "SiNiSistar 2 Patch" on any search engine should lead to the Eroge Japan website with the Patch. However, you can just follow this link to get there.

Download the latest version of the Patch (which should be available at the top — Ver.1.3.0 at the time of writing) for either PC or Mac. Search for the download location of theSiNiSistar2_Patch_v1_3_0_win (or whichever version is available + Mac) and keep it open. We'll be using that really shortly in order to install it to the game.
