How to Complete My Time at Sandrock Main Mission for Mason's Farewell Party: The Show Must Go On
During My Time at Sandrock's first sandstorm, you'll receive Sandgear from Pen, who will promptly run off and fight an Enraged Yakmel. You can choose to follow him and join (or watch), or just go about your day as you normally would.
The next day, it's unveiled that the Blue Moon Saloon's stage was damaged. This will begin a new quest, where the player will have two options: to help with the Stage Backdrop (which will require a Grinder) or the Stage Support (which needs a Processor)!
Don't worry about it too much: the only real difference is what items you'll need to craft or acquire! Just remember to use your Pickhammer to recycle the old one so you have a leg-up.
Each of these two plays slightly differently, with various requirements to complete them. The Stage Support is the easiest, with the fewest materials requires, whereas the Stage Backdrop is a bit harder.
I'll be going over both. Here are the materials you'll need to make the Stage Support:
- One Brick (made with four Stones at the Furnace).
- One Wooden Board (made with five Wood at the Processor)
- A Wood Scrap (look around your Workshop for these).
- One Dregs (recycle Wood and Stone Piles).
You can get Dregs from Wood and Stone Piles or by recycling pretty much any scrap on the Recycler. If you're in a hurry, you can also buy some from the Eufala Salvage!
You can also find some Wood Scrap over at the Salvage, though you'll need to pay the weekly pass (or just search around your home; there are usually some piles around).
When you have all the materials, head over to the Assembly Station and build the Stage Support.
If, on the other hand, you decide to go for the Stage Backdrop, you will need the following items:
- One Dregs (look above for where to find).
- One Wood Scrap (explained above).
- One Copper Loudspeaker.
The Copper Loudspeaker will be a tad more complex, as you'll have to buy the recipe for it at the Commerce Guild. Once you do, you can make it at the Worktable! You'll need:
- Three Copper Bars (smelt Copper Ore at the Furnace).
- Old Parts (found in the first Abandoned Ruins or by recycling Mechanical or Rubber Scrap).
Once you have all the materials, head over to the Assembly Station and build it.
That's it! All you need to do is fix it over at the Blue Moon Saloon, and Mi-an will pop up and do the same for her part.
